Seeking Calm in the Storm: Coping Through Crisis, Managing Anxiety and Building Resilience

In the face of events surrounding the recent pandemic, now more than ever the phrase "we all in this together" resonates deeply, and we have been trying to think of ways support parents, children, and parents at this time. Myself and Middle Way Healing will be offering a workshop geared toward helping adults, families, and practitioner to help manage the anxiety associated with our current climate.

This workshop will cover the topics/challenges related to COVID-19 and more:

  • Practicing mindfullness techniques for reducing anxiety and it's response in the body

  • Coping with anxiety though a variety of interventions, aids, and discussion

  • Addressing the challenges of having students at home/inside for extended periods of time

  • Preparing for Successful Virtual Learning

  • Helping to manage schedules, for both you and your children

  • Providing appropriate recommendations of literature, including articles, books. audio books, and podcasts
